Let's go to our mobile screen where I will show you the whole process. First, go to the Play Store app installed on your mobile and then type Digi locker in the search bar of Play Store.

As you press Enter you will see the Digilocker app with an install button next to it, press it.
These days Digilocker app is most useful in many government certificates like Aadhaar card, PAN, driving license, vehicle RC, auto insurance, etc.
You can keep all kinds of documents issued by the government online.
You can use it whenever you need it. This app is free to use. Click Open when installed.
After opening you will be confronted with this type of interface where two options are given. Sign up and sign up. If you are already registered with this app then provide your credentials after clicking on sign in otherwise select the signup option.
After this, you need to provide your active mobile number and click Continue.
Clicking the Continue button will take you further.
Provide the OTP sent to your mobile number in the previous step. Click Verify.
Next, you will be asked to provide your email / mobile number.
Create a password. But the condition is that it should have a lowercase letter, a number, and a special letter.
This password is 8 to 30 characters long. You must select the following characters as special characters: *, @, #,. Other special characters are not allowed. Build strong passwords using these terms to make it harder for hackers to crack.
Confirm the password and click the signup button. After clicking the signup button, click the Set PIN button to set the PIN for this application on the next page.
So you don't need a password to sign in again. Slide the set PIN button to turn it on. Give a 4 digit PIN for this. It will be asked frequently whenever you open the app.
You do not need to enter your password frequently. Then re-insert the pin. Your PIN is now stored. You can use it in the future. After this, you will be taken to the next interface. If.
Now you have to link your Aadhaar number with this account. So click on the option given below. After that, you should provide your base number on the next page. After checking the check box click on the Continue button which says give your consent.
An OTP will be sent to your mobile number linked to this Aadhaar number. Enter the OTP and click on the Continue button.
You will now find an issued document under the Issued tab.
Click on it.
Click on the Aadhaar card option given below. Your data will be retrieved from the database and downloaded. Now it is saved and you can use it wherever you want. In this way, I have downloaded 8 documents provided by the State and Central Government.
